Isekai is a well-known genre among the people of the anime community and is adored by them. It is not an exaggeration to say that several people get into anime after being interested in this Isekai itself. The title spread from being as amazing as Re: Zero − Starting Life in Another World, No Game No Life to The 8th Son Are You Kidding Me? As the perspective of Isekai has changed gradually over time.
Every year there are multiple titles being adopted from the night novels, but as the genre has been quantified rather qualified it became unpopular. This created a sense of hollowness despite being present in greater numbers. More or less the essence of this genre had strayed away from what it started with or what it was supposed to convey.

But in 2018, White Fox and Egg Firm decided to come together in form of Studio Bind dedicated to the production of a single title named the Jobless Reincarnation or Mushoku Tensei. Mushoku is the pioneer in Light Novel to first utilise the concept of transportation in another world. BInd spent three years over a single show and finally In winter 2021, they released the first part of the anime. It was no gainsaying that it took the whole community away from the very first episode.
Animation & To Look At-
The animation quality of the show was obvious top-notch as the production team were experienced and had given several masterpieces under the banner of White Fox. However, The prospect that actually blew away the mind was the fulfilment of the hollowness it has lacking in the contemporary isekai’s title.
The author Rifujin na Magonote did a really amazing job while laying the foundation for its world, story and characters. The animators also did a verbatim justice in terms of animation. The animation is planned as such that it titillates the spectator in every episode and widens the curiosity to know more about that world. This curiosity deepens the thirst and the art style never let it quenches.
Character Analysis
The characters in Jobless reincarnation are also very different from the contemporary average isekai characters. The protagonist has been depicted as an imperfect person for once, in his past life. Further, He has not been granted overpowered abilities. The character is aware of his weaknesses, flaws and understands the regrets of his past life, and is driven by the fact, not having any in this new one.
To not have any regrets can resonate deeply with anyone and makes the protagonist interesting. Further, the anime is filled with many other characters with different goals and perspectives towards the world. Watching them as well doesn’t make you feel like they were just made out of necessity to fulfil the requirement of the MC rather because of the necessity of the story. The author also made sure to use a lot of fan service in the story. Hence, the warning.
Another thing that really makes the anime adaptation of Jobless Reincarnation superb is the OSTs and by OSTs, I am including the themes songs, fictitious languages SFX, etc. Unlike regular anime where Japanese works for the best. Jobless part its ways with Japanese and have improvised on the individuality of the characters from different regions by having their own language and dialect
Jobless Reincarnation Season 2
The first season of the anime ended 19th December with a total of 23 episodes and I hope the news about season 2 will be out soon. I will conclude it by saying that every year the anime community should be blessed with one amazing anime which cut above the rest, and In 2021 The Jobless Reincarnation is that one anime
