New trailers and insights into the upcoming Goblin Slayer II anime have emerged, building anticipation for its October 6 premiere. This dark fantasy series, based on Kumo Kagyu’s gripping light novels, promises more of the intense action and suspense that fans have come to love.
The latest trailer for Goblin Slayer II has arrived, offering a sneak peek at familiar faces and a glimpse of the new addition, Wizard Boy. Notably, it also provides a preview of the opening theme, “Entertainment,” performed by Mili.
Scheduled to premiere on October 6, Goblin Slayer II will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll outside of Japan, delivering its signature brand of gritty fantasy storytelling. As in the first season, the story continues to revolve around the enigmatic Goblin Slayer, a warrior relentless in his quest to exterminate goblins, whatever it takes. His heroic deeds have stirred rumors, attracting the attention of those seeking his formidable skills.
Directed by Misato Takada (known for Saiyuki Reload Zeroin), with character design by Hiromi Katou (from ID-0), and animated by LIDENFILMS, Goblin Slayer II maintains the talent from its first season. Goblin Slayer, born from Kumo Kagyu’s light novels, captivated audiences worldwide with its spin-offs and a gripping manga adaptation. Since its inception in 2016, the light novel series has grown to include 16 volumes as of July 2022. The anime’s first season and the 2020 OVA Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown were brought to life by White Fox, further establishing its presence in the anime world.
