50 days from today, the Thousand-Year Blood War will resume. The second season of the returned Bleach anime has been recently announced to be aired on July 8, 2023. Aniplex released the trailer on YouTube along with the release date. And man, the anime is looking as good as ever.
There are tons of characters that didn’t get the limelight in the first season who will be making explosive introductions in this upcoming season. Can’t wait for all the hype and amazing battles that are about to write history. More importantly, the story is about to hit hard. There will be some complicated moments that I can’t wait to see get unfolded. In the trailer, we see some insane moments, with characters posing up for the fight. With all the unseen bankai up until now, Squad 0, Aizen, and the remaining Arrancars, there’s gonna be a lot of hype. We also see a bit of insight into Quincy’s hideout, some members, and Uryū’s vow to Yhwach. And Ichigo still seems to be training, mastering his newfound powers and abilities.
All this is truly breathtaking. Seeing a classic series return in the best form possible in this era is very touching. Bleach anime is finally getting the justice it deserves. I don’t know if there’ll be another season. But I hope what we’re getting is an improvement on the manga which had some shortcomings during its run.
