Boi, I have never been this excited in a long time, like the time when Naruto or DBZ was reaching the climax. The peak of shounen anime is coming back on July 6th. We’re only 44 days away. The second season is titled “Cursed Womb・Cursed Child”, which will cover the past days of Gojo and Geto and what lead to their enmity. I have no idea what’s ahead and how the anime will handle the story as it has events from multiple timelines. There’s also the hint at the end of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie where Gojo meets Okktsu and the “Shibuya Incident” which is the most anticipated arc ever in shounen manga history. But it’s confirmed that the anime will mainly focus on past events. I think I’m gonna pass out from all the excitement. I’m no shounen no more but Jujutsu Kaisen forces the shounen spirit to break out within me. I’m that excited about it & hope that MAPPA does justice to this incredible story.

The trailer
2 trailers have been released to the world to announce the comeback of the anime. The animation looks great as always. (I don’t how long MAPPA can keep this up.) We see some old characters as well as some new characters. There’s Gojo, Geto, Ieiri, Utahime, Mei Mei, and some yet to be introduced in the anime. I also noticed that Gojo’s eyes are a bit different from season 1, which could be a change in the art or maybe there’s a lore, I couldn’t tell. And he also doesn’t have the blindfold bandana.
Gojo’s tasked by Tengen to protect a girl from some curse-user assassins for some reason. We see Gojo fighting an assassin named “Fushiguro” who seems to match Gojo in power and ability. And also a little bit of Geto’s descendants into darkness. Whatever is about to happen is gonna break me for sure. The best flashback arc in anime/manga history is about to unfold.
Conclusion
It’s one of the few manga that broke the sales record of One Piece and held the top spot for once. And that’s no dumb luck. Jujutsu Kaisen is that good. I love its style, the characters, and the mojo it brings. I honestly can’t wait for this to start. Although usually, MAPPA rushes things which results in art corrections later in the Bluray like AoT s4. So inevitably it’ll keep me waiting even more. Anyways, I’ll see you on the flip side.
