This year’s Nintendo Direct took place a couple of hours ago. Here are all the games that were announced.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership – Announcement Trailer
Luigi’s finally getting some attention alongside Mario in this new game. It’s Bothership, not brotherhood. It’s going to be an RPG where the player has to control both charactersm leading to some interesting mechanics. It’s coming out in November 7 this year.
Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition – Survival Mode & Legend Challenge
An old classic returns, based on esports competition, Nintendo World Championships. Basically you play different games and try to beat the time set priorly. As you make progress, you unlock more games and challenges. The game comes out next month.
FAIRY TAIL 2 – Teaser
Fairy Tail game gets a sequel coming out in next year’s winter. It’ll cover upto the end of the anime of the final arc.
FANTASIAN Neo Dimension – Trailer
A turn-based RPG game coming out later in this year’s holiday.
MIO: Memories in Orbit – World Premiere Reveal Trailer
A puzzle, platforming game that’s set to come out next year. It by far looks the most interesting due to the world and design. A minor reveal compared to the other entries in the event but I look forward to it the most.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure – Announcement Trailer
A Hello Kitty game, what else to say. Watch the trailer for gameplay details. It’s launching next year.
Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports
A Looney Tunes game featuring multiple mini games jampacked into one that’s coming out this Fall.
Among Us – New Roles Trailer
A free Among Us update comes out later today.
Farmagia – Announcement Trailer
A farming game with battle system that looks fun and hilarious. It comes out on November 1.
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD – Announcement Trailer
Originally released on the Wii and later on the 3DS, the HD remaster of this classic game comes to Switch on January 16, 2025.
DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake – Release Date Trailer
The classic Dragon Quest III gets an amazing remake that’s also faithful to the original. It’s set for release on November 14.
Funko Fusion – Gameplay Trailer
A game where you play as funko pops, that’s all needs to be said about this. It’s coming out on September 13, 2024.
THE NEW DENPA MEN – Trailer
An old mobile game coming to Switch on July 22 this year.
METAL SLUG ATTACK RELOADED – Launch Trailer
Now that’s what I am talking about, the best game of all time makes a surprise reveal this year. You get to duke it out against player’s from all over the world and there’re 300 characters to choose from. Check out the official website which is a delight to look at. It’s already out on Switch and Steam.
Darkest Dungeon II – Announcement Trailer
A strategy game with a cool artstyle coming to Switch on July 15, 2024.
Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero – Announcement Trailer
An RPG game featuring chibi artstyle coming out next year.
Disney Illusion Island – ‘Mystery in Monoth’ Update
An update for this game coming out later today.
MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics – Announcement Trailer
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will bring a selection of classic Marvel Comics games developed by Capcom to the Nintendo Switch, expected to release later this year.
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Announcement Trailer
A new entry to the Nintendo board game series with lots of new elements to the table. It’s featuring 110 minigames and a 20-player multiplayer Koopathalon mode. Super Mario Party Jamboree launches on October 17 of this year.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – Announcement Trailer
Finally a Legend of Zelda game where you get to play as, well, for the name’s sake, Zelda. It’s similar to 2019’s The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake. This one’s coming out in September 26.
LEGO Horizon Adventures – Announce Trailer
The LEGO game coming out later this year in the holidays.
Stray – Announcement Trailer
The cat game getting its release on Switch.
Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings™ Game
LOTR based game with a weird artstyle coming out later this year.
Just Dance 2025 Edition – Announce Trailer
Just Dance: 2025 Edition received a trailer.
Ace Attorney Investigations Collection – Reveal Trailer
The Ace Attorny games featuring Miles Edgeworth coming to modern consoles in September 6, 2024.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Announcement Trailer
An impressive looking gameplay trailer was revealed with lots of action and a hint of lore. I hope they don’t forget the puzzle and exploration aspect of the Metroid games. It’s coming out next year.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- – Announcement Trailer
It’s an interesting looking RPG battle game that focuses on the story. It has good looking cinematic animation and visual novel style dialogue system. It’s set to comeout next year.
Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven – Announce Trailer
Another turn-based RPG game getting a remake on October 24.
Nintendo Switch Sports – Basketball Trailer
A new update featuring basketball for the Nintendo Switch Sports coming out this summer.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Games
These 4 old Wii and GameBoy games are coming for the Online + Expansion Pack members. It’s abailable by now.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD – Trailer
Finally, the infamous Luigi’s Mansion 2 getting an HD remaster or remake, I couldn’t tell. This is another of the old titles that’s much deserving of the makeover. It’s set for June 27 this year.
