The Game Awards 2024 wrapped up, and despite the controversies for valid reasons, the hype was real. People were eager for it more than ever this year. But all that are sidelined by the announcements that were made. Here’s all the games announced at Game Awards 2024!

Ninja Gaiden Returns after 10+ Years in a Classic Side Scroller
A new game in the francise titled Ninja Gaiden Ragebound is coming in Summer 2025. It’ll take on the classic side scroller and 2D sprite graphics. The last game was released in 2014 so it’s been a while since a new game is brought about. The Game Kitchen is developing it and it’ll release on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
One Move Away is for the Laid-Back ones
Here’s an interesting game about packing & unpacking stuff in car for moving. It’s nice to see games that doesn’t need a high-end pc to play. One Move Away is being developed by Ramage Games and published by Playstack. It’s coming in 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Slay the Spire 2 Unfolds as a Sequal
A sequel to this deckbuilding roguelike game is coming next year. Early access will available as well. We look forward to this thrilling strategy game improved over the prequel. Mega Crit is developing and Humble Bundle is publishing the game.
Thick As Thieves
A stylistic game titled same as the 2019 movie: Thick As Thieves. It introduces exciting game mehanics, character types and a glittering, gloomy 1910s metropolis setting with multiple multiple storylines and playstyles. The game will launch in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Shadow Labyrinth
Here’s a twist on on of the most classic game, PAC-MAN and turn it into a dark fantasy. The gameplay features side scrolling, action game with intricate levels, mazes, puzzles, and platforming. BANDAI NAMCO Studios and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment will be developing and publishing the game respectively that’s set to come out next year.
A New Game from the Maker of Shenmue: Steel Paws
Yu Suzuki, the craeator of Shenmue and Virtua Fighter, two of the most classic game franchise, steps into domain of the mobile games. It’s coming to mobile in 2025 as a Netflix Games Exclusive. No other details have been revealed so far.
KYORA – Another Mining Game from the Creators of Core Keeper
Chucklefish and Pugstorm presents a new mining sandbox game featuring explorations, mining, crafting, and some strategic action. Coming soon on steam for early access.
REMATCH – A Stylistic Soccer Game Unearthed
From the creators of Sifu comes a stylistic and technical soccer game titled: REMATCH. This kinda reminds me of an old mobile game I used to play due to its close up, third-person camera. The gameplay features 5v5 team battle with various soccer mechanics. It’s coming in Summer 2025 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
Solasta sequel Revealed by Tactical Adventures
Solasta II presents itself as the sequel to the 2021 game with improved visuals and gameplay. Developed and published by Tactical Adventures, the game will get an early access in 2025 and a demo coming out soon.
The Witcher IV
CD Projekt RED is at it again, unveiling the dark, mysterious, profane, and thrilling, The Witcher IV. The cinematic reveal trailer features a fully grownup Ciri, carrying on the torch from Geralt as she center stage as the protagonist. Upon speculation, the game might come out in 2026.
Elden Ring Nightreign
FromSoftware flexes again, this time with a spinoff game, instead of getting nominated again for the GOTY with an expansion. The only twist is that it’s a multiplayer as a co-op action survival game. It’s set to come out next year. The trailer showcases the same locations with some new enemies but there will be more to it as well as the gameplay most likely.
Untitled Project from the Maker of Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian
Fumito Ueda, the man responsible for legendary games: Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, teases a brand new game in the event. It’s probably going to be another companion based game like Ico and The Last Guardian, but we are not entirely sure. The teaser shows an unknown figure climbs up a giant robot only to get thrown off as the robot head takes off. So it’ll take place in a futuristic post-apocalyptic setting. No further information is revealed.
The Outer Worlds 2
The sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment is finally coming in 2025.
Split Fiction Introduces as Another Exciting Co-op Game
Hazelight Studios brings forth an interesting concept combining multiple game genres, kind of like It Takes Two. It’s from the same developer so it’s no surprise from this type of game. The game will release on March 6, 2025.
From the Makers of World of Warships and Tanks comes STEEL HUNTERS
STEEL HUNTERS is a Free-to-Play, PvPvE shooter with futuristic mech battles. Fight to collect rare loot on an abandoned Earth, and use combat tactics to turn rivals into scrap. Choose your Hunter and playstyle to battle 5 other duo teams. Only one can extract from the Hunting Grounds
BLACKFROST: The Long Dark 2
After 10 years of development, the long awaited sequel to the hit survival game is finally unveiled. It’s a survival sandbox game in an immerstive frostpunk setting. Hinterland Studio is developing it and co-op option will also be available. The early access will be available in 2026.
Borderlands 4 Reveals a Chaotic Trailer
Coming in 2025, comes the sequel to this chaotic FPS franchise featuring many features, I think, including co-op.
New VIRTUA FIGHTER Project
An all-new title in the iconic Virtua Fighter series has revealed at the hands of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the one responsible for the Yakuza series.
Project Century
RGG Studio reveals another game in development. It’s akin to the Yakuza series but the combat seems more technical and it’s graphically more brutal.
Turok: Origins Returns from the Dead
Somehow, they decided to bring a dead game back. The original game released in 2008 and it wasn’t as memorable as other games from that era. But here we are.
Helldivers 2 Announces An Update
Announcement of a new expansion that brings back an aspect from the previous game and it’s already available for play.
Warframe 1999 Launches as Full Game
One of the most beloved multiplyer games of now-a-days has finally launched as a full game. No more beta or test games, the fullfledged game released the next day of the event.
Palworld’s New Expansion Update
Palworld reveals its expansion in an impressive looking cinematic and gameplay trailer. I’d like to describe the game as Monster Hunter with guns meets Pokémon. It’s nice to see this game growing even further.
Onimusha Way of the Sword
Set for 2026, finally a sequel to the Onimusha series after 12 years is on the horizon. Featuring epic sword fights, a lone samurai wields a sharpened blade and the Oni Gauntlet. Amidst the rush of battle and a deluge of blood, he ponders on his reason for fighting.
The First Berserker: Khazan Announces Release Date
This Soulslike game is set for March 27, 2025 and will be available on PC Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

We have another anime game announced at the event from the Dungeon & Fighter series. It’s a open-world action RPG.
Dying Light: The Beast Features A Villain Trailer
A standalone game from the Dying Light series is announced a while back and now character trailer is featured at the event The game is coming out in Summer 2025.
It’s Finally Official; Squid Game: Unleashed
Welp, it’s official. After many knock-offs and indie games, they finally decided to make the official Squid Game game. Not to mention the concept of Squide Game itself is a knock-off. We’ll see how it goes.

No one really needs a remaster with tiny unnoticeable graphical changes but the PC port is much appreciated. It just also wants PSN account conencted so it’s a pain. It’s coming in April 3, 2025.

DISPATCH – A New Game from former Telltale devs
A unique take on the superhero genre video game as workplace comedy by the former Telltale devs. This game features Aaron Paul and Laura Bailey voicing the titular characters. DISPATCH is developed by AdHoc Studio and coming to PC and consoles in 2025.
Ōkami/Okami Sequel gets Revealed after 18 Years
You head the header right. This beloved classic, Okami is coming back. A lot of returning franchise we’re seeing after the hype Sparking Zero brought. Dragon Ball literally sparked the flame of reviving beloved classics and it’s darn awesome to see games that gamers actually want coming back. The original director Hideki Kamiya is joining Capcom for this beautiful game where you play as a Japanese wolf that went extinct.
Naughty Dog Reveals a New Game called Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet
Well, this one’s roasted to crisp already. For many reasons that is ad placements which is fine TBH, the character design, and the other things. The settting pretty intriguing as it’s inspired from Akira and Cowboy Bebop, you get to play as a bounty hunter in a retro space adventure. It’s a hack n slash game with shooter. The way it’s presented is just cringe and lame. But I’m being subjective maybe in this regard, yet just can’t seem to dig into this as a gamer and as a person.
