A new trailer for the upcoming Kamen Rider spinoff anime has been released today. It confims the release of the anime this year. The anime is an manga adaptation titled “Tojima Tanzaburo Wants to Be a Masked Rider” by Yokusaru Shibata.
About Tojima Tanzaburo Wants to Be a Masked Rider
Tojima Tanzaburo Wants to Be a Masked Rider is written and illustrated by Yokusaru Shibata and it began serialization in Hero’s Inc.’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Hero’s in May 2018. After the magazine’s disbandment in October 2020, it was transferred to the Comiplex website in November the same year. It’s compiled into 16 volumes so far.
Since his birth, Tanzaburo had always dreamed of becoming a Kamen Rider. Even as a 40-year-old man, his dream persisted, motivating him to train and exercise regularly. One day, “Shocker” showed up and attacked a convenience store in an attempt to rob it. Without hesitation, Tanzaburo donned a plastic Kamen Rider mask and confronted the criminals. Rather than being hailed as a hero, he became the laughingstock of the internet! Undeterred, Tanzaburo decides to take matters into his own hands, vowing to put an end to the fake Shocker’s plans by investigating and taking to the streets as Kamen Rider.
