DAN DA DAN Season 2 is releasing on July 3, 2025 as officially confimed. It will debute as DAN DA DAN Evil Eye in the grand form of theatrical release. The first three episodes will be screened starting May 30 in Asia by Muse, on June 6 in North America by GKIDS, and on June 7 in Europe by ADN.

About Dan Da Dan
Dandadan (ダンダダン), also displayed as Dan Da Dan, is a Japanese manga series created by Yukinobu Tatsu. Serialized on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ platform since April 2021, the series has been compiled into 19 tankōbon volumes as of April 2025. It follows two teenagers with supernatural abilities who battle yōkai and aliens, assisted by various allies.
An anime adaptation, produced by Science Saru, aired from October to December 2024. A second season is scheduled to premiere in July 2025.
The story centers on Momo Ayase, a high school girl who believes in ghosts but not aliens, and her classmate Ken Takakura, whom Momo nicknames “Okarun,” who believes in aliens but not ghosts. To settle their debate, they each visit locations linked to aliens and the supernatural. Momo is abducted by aliens, accidentally unlocking her psychic abilities, while Okarun becomes possessed by a spirit. Together, they use their newfound powers to defeat the aliens.
The story continues as Momo and Okarun, along with friends, family, and new allies, combat both spirits and aliens. A major subplot involves Okarun’s quest to retrieve his missing genitalia (kintama) and the growing romantic feelings between him and Momo.
