Chainsaw Man Reze Arc The Movie release date has been officially revealed to be September 19, 2025. New visuals, character designs, and a new character, Bomb are also revealed as well as the animation staff and voice actors.

Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Premise
A new character was teased at the very end of season 1’s last episode quoting:
Are you a city mouse or a country mouse?
The character is revealed to be Reze who is the main focus of the upcoming Chainsaw Man film. She seems to have taken an interest on Denji for some reason as we’ve seen her talking to him in the trailer.
Later on, another character is revealed that we’ve yet to see in full glory: Bomb, who is likely to be the main antagonist of the arc.
The above quote alludes to something deep that might be the theme of the arc. The same about city and country mouse was seen in Aki’s flashback, Aki’s younger brother reading a book of that story. It might be alluding to the fact that someone from a country with simple mind and needs find it hard to live in a complex city system and without losing a core pert of themselves, they can’t fit in.
Afterthought
3 years after the first season’s ending, we’re finally getting a new Chainsaw Man anime which is canon to the story. We’re ready for an emotional rollercoaster.
