Solo Leveling is a Korean comic known as Manhwa started in 2018 and received many praises. Its anime is much wanted by the fans and it was finally announced this year. The world-building, character writing, and cool action sequences easily made it one of the most anticipated shows. While there are some caveats to this adaptation, the fans worldwide are eager for it nonetheless. Will this adaptation live up to the expectations? We’ll just have to see. Synopsis:
For those who don’t know, Solo Leveling is set in an RPG like world where the real world is influenced due to a mysterious event. Now, people can wield magical abilities and those who battle mosters are known as Hunters. Jinwoo Sung/Shun Mizushino is a hunter and rejected by his peers since he is very weak. One day, Jinwoo is thrown into a life-or-death situation and he must overcome it on his own. This trial may make him the world’s strongest hunter and hence the title—Solo Leveling.
